Bridal Tea Party

Last weekend Jonda hosted a tea party for all the brides (and a few of us stragglers) that she had over the last wedding season, we all had to wear formal bridal attire (wedding dress, bridesmaids dress), it was a traditional high tea menu put on her by her awesome sister-in-laws. We had a blast taking fun pictures and pimping out our wedding dresses with fun accessories. Thanks Jonda!

Rockaway Beach, Oregon

On Sunday Brian and I headed down to Portland to meet Seth and Carrie for a little getaway on the Oregon Coast. We rented a little place in Rockaway Beach only a block from the ocean and on this little lake. It rained alot but we still had a blast!

The canoe ride was a little tippy, we almost went overboard a few times...

Random October

Mushrooms are infiltrating my lawn, Brian has some shop projects, my leaves are changing, Maddog is the same as always, happy as a clam- gotta LOVE october!

Quadding in BC

This weekend, {Brian's first weekend off since corn started} we decided to head to Bryan and Emily's for some fun! We took the quads up to ride for the weekend, we figured it would be raining, so we packed rain gear and its a good thing, oh man did it rain!! Saturday we drove up to the Tulameen where to unloaded and rode most of the day, despite the rain we had a blast!

Sunday we went out near their place and the weather was perfect! Check out the Mud Bog video.... you'll notice half way through there is screaming and the camera gets all crazy....well Emily was videoing us standing at the edge of the mud bog, when I came through- the water came with me soaking her up to her knees almost! Good thing the day was almost over.

Corn....

Sunday will be the last day of Corn Harvest for the season! Wahoo! I took Brian's camera the other day and downloaded some of his pictures.....

Punkin' Carving

On Sunday night Brian and I went over to the Pingetzers for a little pumpkin carving...the little munchkins were so excited about the pumpkins, but they refused to reach in and clean them out- rascals! Needless we went on carving with out them. Brian and I had big plans to trace these cool patterns....we traced them and then lost interest in carving them...we ended up with faces! Ashley persevered though and it paid off!

Apple Sauce

Yesterday Jolene, Andrea, and I (and a little Shelley) made apple sauce and apple pie filling.....we ended up with 50 some quarts of apple sauce, 22 pints of apple sauce, and 21 quarts of apple pie filling! It was alot of work and we were all exhausted by the end of the day....but totally worth it! Thanks girls for all the help!
