Gathering Branches

On Sunday Lyndenn and Meagan came over so we could gather some branches for Lyndenn's wedding. We took my Dads Ranger up the hill from their house where an old curly willow sits and filled her up! So many cool looking branches! And so great to see Lyndenn and Meagan for a bit!

Mid Morning Shooting

Yesterday morning Brian and I took Pat and Kelly out for a little skeet shooting. We met Pat and Kelly about 3 years ago on the National Cruise. They were sooo much fun! Pat works for National in Seattle at the corporate office. Basically Brian grows the vegetables and Pat's job is to sell the vegetables.
Whenever Pat and Kelly come over to Quincy we make them do country related things like shooting, changing water, looking at crops, etc, they are so much fun and it is great when they come over because they are so enthusiastic about whatever Brian plans!

Balloon Festival in Quincy

I realize I posted way too many photos, but I just couldn't choose, this weekend was the annual Farmer Consumer Awareness Days in Quincy and Brian's Uncle Alan and Aunt Amy always come stay with us for the weekend. Saturday morning I had the pleasure of taking a hot air balloon ride above Quincy. It was beautiful! I loved it! Then Saturday night they do the Nite Glow where they light up the balloons! It was amazing!

That me up in the Air!

Brian helping get the balloon up!
That's me squishing Brian like a bug from the air!

Twin Firs Turf where we took off.

The only pic of us from the air.

Uncooperative

Emily made me this cute tutu for kids pictures and I thought what a great opportunity, I would take pictures of Addy Lou while Jolene was home. Yeah Right! This kid is a monkey, first of all she wouldnt sit still and then when we took her outside in the grass she yelled and screamed...nonetheless is was amusing.

Random...

Yesterday I got out my fall decorations! I love fall!
Josh and Lyndenn came over for dinner on Sunday, it was a nice visit!
I made a peach pie! Yummy
Mr. John Deere (aka: Josh Knodell- who was gifted Brian's old lawn mower) had to take the new one for a spin.

Sky is Lyndenn's lab and this is the only dog that I have ever seen snap at Maddy... Maddy usually is obnoxious and just wants to play, Sky snapped at her right off the bat and Maddy was put in her place! She didn't pester her the rest of the night!
