Grandma

This is Betty Jean my 87 year old Grandma- who is amazing! She is who my middle name is after! :) She is about 4 feet tall and makes the best cookies around! That's all the poor woman has been doing for the last three days! My favorite memories at Grandma's house in California was always having tea and cookies in the afternoons on her back porch overlooking the citrus orchards!

White Christmas

Although some of you (those who are needing to travel) might not be amused by the white winter snow we are getting I couldn't help it, this was just to pretty to resist! This morning we woke up to a white winter morning.... today Grandma Hunter is baking some of her infamous cookies and we are sipping hot tea by the fire! Enjoy!

Spud

This is my Uncle Russ' dog- Spud. Which I might add is a fitting name as Uncle Russ is a potato grower. He is the biggest Golden Lab I think I've seen. When I ran to Wal-Mart today I couldn't resist the reindeer ears! Isn't he cute!

O Christmas Tree

Last night Brian and I went to the National Christmas party. Ofcourse I had to make us take a few pictures before we left! So here we are by our cute little tree.

A few of my favorite ornaments...

My mom got this ornament for Brian- I love it.
Cousin Patrick got a few of these last year for Brian and I. I can hardly believe that Christmas is so near! They say the high for this weekend will be sunny and 9 degrees! Wow I am so excited! Sunny and 9 degrees (do those go in the same sentence together?) Everyone bundle up!

A New Me...

Well folks, here it is! I did it, I acutally cut all my hair off! Yikes! It was scarry, Betsy put my hair in a ponytail and just took the scissors and whacked it off! I screamed! But it was long enough to donate to locks for love, so that's good! I have already gotten three comments that I look even more like my mother.....(if your reading this mom, that was a compliment!)

Santa Baby...

This weekend Aunt Amy (in Seattle) hosted a Cookie Exchange for the Faw/Cizik Girls. Stephanie, Shelley, Heather, myself and Amy had a wonderful saturday afternoon frosting the occassional sugar cookie, and eating most of them, it was a beautiful day so we even went on a stroll through the Madison Valley arboretum. In the spirit of the season we also decided to take Santa hat pictures of Nora (who is 10 months) she is a total HAM infront of the camera, and her big blue eyes are so beautiful!

Whirlwind Weekend...

Brian, Brad, and Russ spent most of the weekend working in Brian's shop hanging new lights!

Friday night we all went and watched 'Fireproof' which was a great movie! On Saturday after a little Faw Family tradition of trapshooting, Brian and I headed to Wenatchee with Bryan and Emily (our friends from Canada) to watch a hockey game which was actually really fun and then we even went bowling...I am quite the party animal! :)

This is Bryan and Emilys dog 'Ben', this is the biggest Great Dane I have ever seen...I of course couldn't resist a post without something about a dog!
