This is where the trip gets 'fly by the seat of our pants' After our stay in Cannon Beach we had no plans, no reservations, and just let the road lead us! We made our way to Astoria Oregon which is where the mouth of the Columbia River feeds into the Pacific Ocean, it is a 4 mile bridge from Astoria over into Washington and we've always wanted to see it since we live by, play in, and use power from the Columbia!
From Astoria we went into Washington to Long Beach, this is a cool beach cause you can drive you vehicles on it...(no, we didn't take the bikes on the sand....) would have been fun though!
We stopped for a fish and chips lunch and a few silly pictures!
