Sturgis or Bust!

Last year we were discussing where to take our annual bike trip with Ashley and Lyndsy this summer Sturgis seemed like the most logical choice!  So plans were put into motion and as my 30th birthday treat we headed out, Sturgis or Bust!  As per time constraints for work, we trailered the bikes to Gillette, Wyoming.  It was about a 14 hour drive from home.
Brian has dubbed our motorcycle club the Winchester Wanted...so you might see a few club WW's in photos!  Sturgis was full of crazy cool custom bikes, crazy people, tattoo parlors (which we didn't get any, don't worry).
On our way to Devil's Tower...
STURGIS...still can't believe we made it!  So fun!
It was pure biker madness!  Bikes lined every street corner and spot, I am not sure we even saw any cars!
People were just dressed randomly and it was entertaining.
 Where's the Winchester Wanted Crew?
After spending most of the day perusing the streets of Sturgis and people watching we decided it was time to check out the Full Throttle Saloon and the Buffalo Chip.
This is an awesome statue at the World's Biggest Biker Bar, the Full Throttle, which is a mixture of anything and everything, it is like a circus in there.  A favorite part is the burn out pit, where, 'smoking is required' 2 guys will take their bikes in an have a burn out contest to burn off the back tire...it's pretty entertaining, full of smoke, and smells of burnt rubber!
Acrobatics in the middle of the bar....
Off to the Chip!  The GIANT campground which is basically a small city of it's own a few miles outside of town.
We dodged a few rain storms...we literally were riding into Sturgis where you could see the rain falling, we divereted the other direction and waited on the side of the road while wet bikers passed us.
This is facing the sunny side...
That was Sturgis in a rain cloud!
We parked on the strip.
And saw Saving Abel at Easy Riders!

My cousin was there last weekend! Looks like a lot of fun, but do they even allow people into the town if they aren't a biker?
