Nicole's Birthday Celebration

I love birthdays and Nicole knew exactly how to celebrate!  With cupcakes from Cupcake Royale!  Hello!  Ashley, Katie, and Nicole and I made a mad dash to Seattle for some shopping and needed girly time!  We enjoyed cupcakes, goofing around in the Filson store, asking random strangers to take our pictures, and had the most wonderful day! Thanks for gettin' old Nicole!

Extended Turkey Day Weekend

Saturday we went to Wenatchee for another lovely turkey day feast with the Silvers/Bartsch's.  Always good to see friends on the holidays!

Orofino, Id

Friday after Thanksgiving, Brian and I got up early and made a trek over to Uncle Russ' place in Orofino Idaho for a day of quadding and some fresh air in the hills!  It ended up being such a nice day. We spent it checking out wildlife, riding the quads, making Treager BBQ Ribs and hanging out.

Turkey Day 2012

Thanksgiving 2012 we spent with the Faw Family and Brian's mom and dads.  We spent the day shooting, crafting a little, eating, more eating, and enjoying family time. It was a great day!

Anika's Third Birthday

Meetin' Amelia

Brian's sister Stephanie just added a new bundle of joy to their family.  Baby Amelia...I went down with Cathy to meet the wee one and for Anika's 3rd birthday (more on that later).  She is a happy sleepy baby.  Welcome to the fam, kid.

Lock and Load

Sunday Brian and I went out to Brian and Susie's for some shooting and a bon fire! What a fun way to spend an afternoon!

Applesauce!

Sunday was a lovely lazy day.  Alice came over and we got to hang out visit and make apple sauce!  It was just the perfect afternoon and a much needed break from craziness!

Friday morning we woke up with SNOW!  I was sooo excited and then so disappointed when it was gone so quick. The dogs were very excited as well.

Fall Colors

It won't be long until all the leaves are gone...today was turn your nose red and freeze your fingers cold....there's just something about an apple orchard in the fall.

FFA Alumni

Along with their produce stand at the Farmer Consumer Awareness Day and farming some acreage this summer of hay, recently the Quincy FFA Alumni Association (which Brian is VP of) raised funds to purchase the FFA Chapter a new truck!  How cool is that!?

Fall leaves

Brian and I spent this weekend at home doing chores and along with those chores was the leaves that keep piling up!  So Brian and the dogs got right to work!  Maddy is having a sleep over with Elsie for a few days...they had fun running amuck in the leaves.

Visiting with GiGi

GiGi's visit here was a whirlwind...besides a few dinners and a lunch she was a busy gal. Her and mom went to Medford on a road trip to pick up a horse.  But while she was here we managed a few dinners out at our house.  I made a delish apple pie for last nights salmon bbq.  It's always fun visiting with GiGi.

Happy Halloween

Living out in the country we don't encounter alot of trick or treaters! Luckily Ash and Lyndsy always appease me and stop by!  My trick or treaters always get homemade treats like popcorn balls and caramel apples!  Along with candy!

Sticking with the theme last night for Halloween Brian and I had Sausage and Cornbread stuffed pumpkin for dinner! I love it, dad used to make it, Brian on the other hand ate it with out complaint....but definitely didn't love it!
