Friday, Carrie and I made a trek over to Pullman to visit our favorite spots. It is always so beautiful this time of year with the wheat fields. On the way we had to stop at the Pullman WSU sign for a pic, we went to Paper Pals (the scrapbooking store we used to work at), made it to Ferdinands (the WSU Dairy's Creamery) for icecream, drove by our old apartments, and saw a few old friends. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful drive!

Road Trip
Road Trip to Texas- Carrie and Seth strarted Vivayic and Relevant Classroom a few years ago (they are curriculum writers and consultants) check out the details at www.relevantclassroom.com. The reason we went to Texas was for Carrie and I to sit at the booth and sell materials while Seth had to do some workshops. We made the 10 hour trek from Lincoln, NE to Fort Worth, TX. And, Yes I did make us stop at stateline for a picture. There were some amazing horse ranches on the way down...(although I didn't near enough cowboys in Texas...) anyway, it was an fantastic week with great friends!
Road Trip footage.

Nebraska
Well folks this is me checking in from the great state of Nebraksa (and I say that with no sarcasm, Lincoln is a beautiful city. We are headed out to Fort Worth TEXAS in the morning, so I thought I'd better say a little something before we depart! If you look at the right side of the house in the pic the very top window....that is where I am typing from! :)
The Derner's beautiful home in the Fallbrook neighborhood of Lincoln, NE. I just can't get enought of this house...it is amazing. Notice the RED adirondeck chairs on the front porches (all the neighbors are jealous)

Shippin'
This is Shippin'....she is a Boston Terrier that Tricia from (Goin' Postal) adopted from the pound a few months ago. She is actually the store mascot and hangs out at the store all day...and sometimes when I am bored I like to stick her in the mail boxes...the other day when we stuck her in the USPS Postal Crate she leaped out of it like a deer...it was hilarious.

Stehekin
Over the weekend Lyndsy and Ashley and Brian and I went to Stehekin for a little camping trip. We headed out Saturday morning early to catch the boat in Chelan. It was such a beautiful boat ride...the mountains are amazing! When we got there we set up camp, then walked 3 miles to this giant water fall called Rainbow Falls, stopped at the Stehekin Pastry Company (which was featured in Martha Stewart Last summer) for pie, then went to the restaurant for a spectacular dinner, made a campfire roasted mallows and made smores, rented bikes, hiked around, and had an awesome time!

Sprout
This weekend Brian's family was over for our cousins Heather and Andy's wedding reception and Alan, Amy, and Nora stayed the weekend with us. So yesterday Amy wanted Nora to see some animals...I had the perfect spot! Ashley's mom lives right down the road from us and she has ponies, cows, chickens, cats, dogs, and goats! Little Nora didn't know what to do with her self. I think she liked the kittens the best.
