Pingetzer Cabin Weekend

This year we stayed at a gorgeous house in Cle Elum, and although there was no snow we still had fun!

Who says little kids toys aren't fun for adults?!  We took a walk and played for awhile.

Dusty Lake Hike

The Hiker Babes set out again on another adventure! This time we went to the Quincy Lakes area for a little adventure. It was actually a really nice day out for being 30 degrees.  We did a 5 mile treck today, there's quite a few more places to explore here too.  

 29 weeks!!!!

Frenchman Coulee Hike

The Hiker Babes are at it again.  This time we went exploring the Frenchman Coulee area, which is not too far from home.  It's amazing how many great spots we have to hike around so close.  It was foggy and dreary for our hike but we still managed nice views and a 5 mile trek.

River Trip

Andy and Cenone have an awesome cabin up river at Hell's Canyon so we took a few days and headed up river for a little unplugged getaway.  The weather was perfect, sunny and 45, can't beat that for January.  We fished, relaxed, ate, repeat.

Northup Canyon Hike

Well since our dusting of snow only lasted 24 hours we are back to Spring weather, and what a perfect chance to enjoy the outdoors then another hike.  Alice, Nicole, and I headed up to Northup Canyon for a 5.5 mile trek.  It was just what the doctor ordered, some fresh air and good company. 

 We climbed up a ways, you can see the valley from the picture above in the distance.

The First Snow!

We finally woke up to our first dusting of snow of the season!  In January!  Wasn't much, but i'll take it!!  Maddy loves when it snows, she eats it, licks it, runs around and acts crazy!

8 years...

I couldn't let this year go by with out even mention of our 8th anniversary!  After a busy week of being sick and gone we just decided to have dinner at the Porthouse with Lyndsy and Ashley…Brian ended up getting sick, barely finished his steak, and we headed home to go to bed early!  No photos to show for it!

Hiking Steam Boat Rock Loop

With the weather having been so nice lately we decided to take advantage and go for a hike.  Alice, Nicole, Shelley & I headed to steam boot rock and had a wonderful day. It was a 4.5 mile loop around the ridge and had lovely views.
