Pea Field Day

Every June Brian has his annual Pea Field Day where the field-men and processors come and check out the varieties.  It usually a fun filled day.  Usually they do a BBQ but this year Brian got a taco wagon out to the field so the guys could order whatever they wanted.  It was awesome. 

This is the second year it poured rain in June on his field day.  But luckily it cleared up and was a nice afternoon.

Jelly Fish

The Stagglets came up for a visit so we planned a craft day with Trisha, Ruth, and Dot.  We made jelly fish and they were so fun!

 Gunnar found my toy motorcycle and it fit him perfectly!  I found him downstairs walking it around making vroom vroom noises.

 Adelaide's getting pretty good with my camera.  She can barely hold it up it weighs so much.  

Shelley and Sophia's Shower

Saturday was Shelley and Sophia's Baby Shower.  We had a little open house celebration.  I made some vanilla cupcakes with lemon curd filling with whipped lemon frosting...hello!

Go Cougs!

Knuckles, Katie, Ashley and I made a trek to Pullman the other day for a little fun. We stopped at the Go Cougs shed for a photo...We stopped and got cheese and ice cream at Ferdinand's, ate Calzone's at Sella's, shopped at the Bookie and Crimson and Grey and generally had a blast  on our old stomping grounds.

William (Knuckles Husband) was a Cougar Football Player and a good one at that...he is on the wall in the new stadium's box seats so we had to stop and take a photo!

Happy Dad's Day

Sunday I spent the day in Prosser celebrating Father's Day/LindyJean's Bday. Brian was in Spokane, so I was flying solo, rode my bike down and it was such a nice summer day! 

We had a great afternoon spent with family.  Gotta love Crawdad's hats, he always has a cool old school hat.

Mini-Golf

Saturday afternoon Ash, Nicole, Hayden, Payton and I went mini golfing at Oasis in Ephrata and had burgers at DK's. Can't beat a saturday afternoon like that!!

Zebra Cake

For LJ's birthday, she asked for a zebra cake. So a zebra cake she got.  

She's figuring out holding up the three fingers, she's getting it down! 

Sage Bluff Alpaca's

For LindyJean's 3rd Birthday I went to Prosser to visit for the day, it was a lovely day!  We spent the morning at the Alpaca farm with the cute furry animals.  We got to feed them and feel their cool fibers.

Adelaide is learning how to use my camera. She did pretty good until GW ran through the frame.

Strawberry Pickin'

Ashley and I took her kids to the u-pick strawberry patch for some berry pickin'!  They were good little workers and we picked 17 pounds.  That's alot of jam and strawberry fruit roll ups!  There is just no comparison to a berry from the grocery store to a fresh picked juice red strawberry!

Palouse Falls

My favorite part of summer is going on sunday funday motorcycle ride's.  This Sunday we headed out to Palouse Falls for a birthday ride for Lyndsy.  We ended up on some awesome back roads with perfect twists and turns, the sun was shining, and we couldn't have asked for a better day out.  Palouse Falls was created by the Missoula Ice Age floods way back when and it is a site to see.

We hiked down to these water falls and then up and over to the top of the falls.

 Here we are above the falls, this is Brian peeking over...hanging on to the ledge...it was soooo high up!

 Then is was onto the next destination, we made it to Waitsburg for dinner and had an awesome southern meal at WhoopdemUp's.
