Matt and Trisha Nelson, some friends of ours just recently opened a new shipping store in Ephrata called Goin' Postal! Yesterday was opening day and it was so exciting for them!

FRIED GREEN TOMATOES

Yesterday my Grandma, Mom, and I decided to take advantage of the masses of green tomatoes in the garden and make FRIED GREEN TOMATOES....they were delicious, if you've never had them, I highly reccomend! And in keeping with the theme, we even watched the movie Fried Green Tomatoes last night!

The Big Horn Sheep of Chelan

Grandma, Mom, and I took a little day trip to Chelan Saturday to see some wineries on the way we encountered a herd of 'Rocky Mt. Big Horn Sheep' they were so amazing and some of then just stood there and posed for me...

Pumpkin Carving Party

Being in the Halloween spirit- Shaun and Andrea had a little pumpkin carving party this weekend at their house! It was a jolly good time! We even roasted pumpkin seeds and decorated Halloween sugar cookies! I will say Shaun definately won the best carved pumpkin (his is the Gremlin's Head)!

Applesauce

I love fall, I know I've said it before, but how could you not? The crisp air, pumpkins, halloween candy, and best of all fall apples! This weekend Andrea and I spent most of Saturday canning applesauce, it's time consuming but totally worth it!
