Tweety Bird...
Mad-Dog has a thing with birds, she especially likes to tease the magpies but has yet to catch one. Little finches on the other hand she can get her paws on. Every morning she plays a game with the magpies...Brian will put her food out in her bowl in the yard, Maddy will eat a little bit and then get bored and come closer to the house...in the meantime about 3 to 4 magpies with gather around her bowl and nibble at her food- then Maddy will turn and run at them chasing them away, then she will walk slowly back toward the house where the magpies will nibble at her food again and she will again chase them away- she enjoys this little cat and mouse game every morning. A couple weeks ago she got a hold of a tweety bird and wouldn't let go until the poor thing went to little birdy heaven...she held this bird by the head in her mouth for at least 1/2 hour and then proceeded to eat it. You can tell by the look on her face that she wanted to let go, it looks like she wants to throw up!

So funny! Maya jumps up in the air to catch birds in mid-flight. Robins are her favorite. It's quite amazing to watch. She too will rip it apart and make sure it's dead, and then just leaves it in the yard. I'm sure it tastes gross!

Your dog is a rapid killing machine, those poor birdies... I'm calling PETA, you're animal needs Corrective Behavioral Therapy and maybe medication too!
