Sunny Day at Salmon La Sac

Saturday we went up to Salmon La Sac with Eric, Alice, Dustin, & Julia. We spent the day playing in the snow and soaking up the sunshine!  It was cold and dreary when we left home and even foggy and freezing at the parking lot, but as soon as we climbed a little the sun was out and it was an beautiful day out on the slope.

The guys were climbing this big hill behind us so we sat int he snow and enjoyed the day.

 We had a few sleds break down during the day so Brian and I rode mine together for a bit and Dustin and Julia rode Brians together.  These machines aren't meant to be ridden double so it was quite comical...

Portland

Brian had some meetings in Portland, Oregon this last week so we met Andy and Cenone there for a little adventure with the work.  Best part, we made is to VooDoo Doughnuts (a infamous Portland establishment) for some whacky doughnuts!  They have doughnuts you can't even imagine...my favorite the voodoo doll doughnut and the maple bacon bar!  They were so tasty.

Cenone and I had some fun shopping and enjoyed some amazing meals.  If you are ever in Portland, the Urban Farmer is my new favorite eatery!

Needle Felting

Trisha got us needle felting kits for Christmas so we decided last night to test it out.  Her's was a chick and mine was a owl!  It was so fun!  If you don't know what needle felting is...you take big strands of wool ball them up and stab them with a needle until they start to take shape.  It's a great way to get aggression out!  Ruth and Dotty were great little helpers.

 Is that just hilarious or what!!

7 years!

It's our 7th anniversary!  Really???  Where does time go? Seriously...how is that possible?!

 We celebrated by having dinner at Tsunami Sushi and going to the movies with Ashley and Lyndsy!  

Matt and Shelley's Wedding

This weekend we ventured over to Coeur D'Alene Idaho to the CDA Resort for the beautiful wedding of Matt and Shelley.  The ceremony over-looked the lake complete with fireworks, the dinner was great, they had an awesome dessert bar and we danced all night!  It was such a fun night with friends as usual!

What could be better then hot chocolate with marshmallows? 

Hot chocolate cupcake with marshmallow frosting...duh!!  

After falling in love with my homemade hot chocolate mix this year, I figured why not make them into a cupcake!  So tasty!  Marshmallow frosting is my new favorite!

2013- Happy New Year

After our little sledding adventure Brian and I ventured over to Ashley and Lyndsy's where we met up with Nicole and Will, played cards, ate some food, did a little hot tubbing, and had some fun with sparklers.
